Born in Pitalito, Huila in 1996, he grew up in a coffee-farming family and took over Las Flores from his father in 2018. What sets him apart is his training: alongside hands-on farming, he studied specialty coffee production, roasting and professional cupping through SENA, giving him a rare command of the whole process from tree to cup.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAbout the Farm\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eLas Flores is a 16-hectare farm at 1,750–1,900 masl in Acevedo, Huila. Jhoan grows an unusually wide range of varieties here: Java, Chiroso, Geisha, Pink Bourbon, Sidra and more — treating each one to its own custom fermentation and drying process rather than a single house method.
