Shipping

How many days does it take to process my order?

We roast on Monday and ship on Tuesday. All orders placed before Monday 8am, will be shipped on the same week of Tuesday and you should receive them within 3 - 5 days from dispatch.

At busy times of year for postal services delays may occur which are beyond our control. We will ship your order to the shipping address you provide during the ordering process. We will make every effort to deliver your order on time, but we do not guarantee delivery dates or times.

If there are any issues regarding delivery of your products. we will contact you and arrange delivery through an alternative method that is suitable for you. If we can’t deliver, you will be given a full refund.

Domestic

Australia Post aims for delivery within 3 - 5 working days for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne metro. A secret tracker will be placed in the tin for you to keep track of your delivery.

If your parcel is attempted delivery and you are not available it will be taken to the nearest post office for collection (unless authority to leave was granted in your order comments) If it is not collected within 10 days it will be returned back to us and we will then have to re-ship which will incur additional shipping charges.

International

Sendle aims for delivery with the following schedule:

Zone 1 - New Zealand (4-11 working days)
Zone 2 - Asia Pacific (5-28 working days)
Zone 3 - North America (10-24 working days)
Zone 4 - Western Europe (5-19 working days)
Zone 5 - Rest of the world (12-30 working days)

It will take longer than expected due to the cancellation of many international flights and country-specific restrictions, overseas transit times, customs clearance and local delivery times.

Authority to leave

If you would like to have your order left without a signature and you didn't add this to your order comments don't worry you still can. Once your order is in transit you may receive a separate email from Australia Post this will give you the option to select "Safe Drop".

You can opt in to safe drop right up until the day of your delivery.

Please Note: If you give permission for an item to be left without a signature on delivery Smay Coffee Roasters can not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items. There is no insurance on parcels that are requested Safe Drop.

Local Pick Up

Pick up is available from the roastery, at Clayton South. You can select the pickup date and time at the checkout.

Calculated at checkout via our courier service Sendle.
Rates will vary depending upon the country you provided.

Return and Refund

If you are not 100% satisified with our product, we accept returns on unopened and unused products within 14 days of the date of shipment. To initiate a return, please contact us, smaycoffeeroasters@gmail.com with your order number and reason for the return.

Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and issue a replacement or credit of the purchase price, if the item is in its original condition.

Please note that we are not responsible for return shipping costs.

If your coffee product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product. We will work with you to provide a replacement product or issue a credit of the purchase price.

We do not offer a change of mind refund.
